Search Policy

Everyone is searched upon entry to the venue. This is a requirement of our licensing.
Inadmissible items
• Forum Birmingham promotes sensible drinking.
• Valid Passports & Drivers Licence will be accepted on entry.
• Management reserves the right to refuse entry.
• A search policy is in operation on entry.
• ID will be checked on entry. Challenge 25 is in operation in the venue.
• No large bags/rucksacks allowed into the venue.
• Forum Birmingham does not tolerate drug taking – anyone found with drugs will be removed from the venue.
• No food or drinks of any sort.
• No football shirts/football clothing or face coverings/masks/balaclavas.
• No weapons, flares or pyrotechnic devices.
• No umbrellas.
• No visibility vests.
• No liquids, glasses or aerosols, including perfumes, make up or sprays, hazardous items, food, flares or fireworks, camera equipment of any kind, weapons of any kind, flags, banners and poles.
If you arrive at our venue with any of the inadmissible items listed above, you will usually be able to dispose of it/them at the entrance. Items will not be recoverable once surrendered at the entrance.

If you feel unwell whilst at Forum Birmingham

We have an on-site treatment room, medics and welfare team.

Our experienced team are always on-hand to assist with any enquiry, no matter what the situation is.

We wish to remind all customers that your safety is our main priority. Our medics are on hand throughout the venue. If you feel unwell, or notice a friend feeling unwell, please seek out a member of staff immediately.

Please help us to look after you by taking regular breaks and drinking water. If someone around you seems fatigued or confused, find them somewhere safe to sit and seek onsite medical personnel or inform one of our bar staff.

There are multiple free drinking water stations available at the end of every bar throughout the venue.
Please feel free to ask a member of our bar staff if you need help locating one and they will be happy to assist. You can also get free cups from behind the bars if you need one.
Smoking Area

We have a smoking area at Forum but due to it being in a public area, drinks are not permitted to be taken outside.

These are located next to the entrance and for larger events there will be a second smoking area in use with the entrance located to the right of the main stage via the double doors in the corner.

ACCESSIBILITY
1.)Do you have access requirements?
If you have access requirements please complete the enquiry form on our homepage or email info@forumbirmingham.uk if you can’t do the homepage form. You will be contacted once your application has been made by one of our team to discuss your access needs on the night.
2. What will be available at the venue?
Accessible toilets, viewing platforms and an Access officer to assist with anything you may need.
There is a balcony section for seated access which offers a fantastic view of our events. This section of our venue has a bar, easy toilet access.
3. When too enquire about access requests?
We ask that you make any request at least a week in advance of the show so we can be sure to receive and note your request.
